A New Research Paradigm for the 21st Century :
Children as Active Researchers
Welcome to XR The Moroccan Association Lab, dedicated to empowering children and young people as active researchers. We recognize that they are experts in their own lives and value their perspectives. Our comprehensive program teaches the research process, providing one-on-one support to help them design and conduct their own projects. We facilitate the dissemination of their findings, enhancing understanding of childhood experiences and contributing to knowledge about their lives and the conditions affecting them. We believe that scientific research for kids is a right.
Participatory Action Research
A core value of our community is to give children a voice in the research and design process by representing and respecting their interests.
Accessibility and Inclusivity
Creating an inclusive and accessible research environment empowers children to explore science and engage early.
Building a Strong Research Ecosystem
Children are essential in building a strong research ecosystem, fostering curiosity, collaboration, critical thinking, and inspiring future generations.
Elevating Morocco's Global Standing
By encouraging kids to publish, Morocco fosters individuals who can impact their communities and enhance the country’s global standing.

Intergenerational Lab
At XR The Moroccan Association, we believe that our intergenerational lab, the first of its kind in Morocco, allows children and adults to be equal active researchers. This initiative bridges the ‘research divide’ and fosters connections across generations.

The Steps to follow
Children as Active Researchers:
The Steps to follow
Team Building Activities
We believe in building trust bridges and learning from each other to prepare for scientific research. These activities focus on developing problem-solving skills and critical thinking in children.
Entrance Test
After team building, kids undergo a test to assess their readiness and understanding for engaging in research.
Research Pools
Successful kids join the Research Pools, participating in intense training sessions that cover the fundamentals of scientific research and research methodologies, providing them with essential knowledge and skills.
Validation Tests
Following the Research Pools, kids complete validation tests to ensure they have mastered the necessary information and skills required for research.
Collaborative Project Work
Successful kids join the Research Pools, participating in intense training sessions that cover the fundamentals of scientific research and research methodologies, providing them with essential knowledge and skills.
Publication
After successfully completing the project, kids publish their findings, marking their achievement and contribution to the research community.
Becoming an Active Researcher
Congratulations! The kids are now active researchers at XR The Moroccan Association, earning their title as active researchers! They will be part of the lab team, where they can keep exploring, learning, and discovering amazing things together!
